Alternatively, you can also use us and our extensive, yet laser focused, global network of used bakery equipment buyers, to sell your equipment on a on a commission basis.

Regardless of what path you choose, we are here to provide you with options, including but not limited to the following sale strategies:

  • Off Market / Negotiated Private Treaties. Artisan Capital Partners often gets inquiries from our potential buyers regarding desired equipment. As such we have a good pulse of our customer needs and in many situations we don't even need to search for buyers as we already identified and pre-qualified one or more off market interested parties. When offering your equipment for sale by private treaty you typically have several advantages including:
    • Flexibility regarding the length of time your equipment is offered for sale.
    • The ability to adjust the price based on negotiations momentum.
    • The opportunity to consider each individual offer from potential purchasers.
    • Greater flexibility for negotiation. For instance, a contract can be signed ‘subject to' certain conditions such as a down payment or a bank commitment letter or finance approval.
    • Cost savings on the marketing and promotional expenses of an auction campaign.
  • Liquidation Marketing.  With over 60 years of combined industry experience, Artisan Capital Partners specializes in providing premium, unparalleled service to our clients while maximizing the return on their under-utilized assets. We intimately know the used bakery equipment industry, and the underlying value of the assets we sell. This knowledge base allows us to determine in advance what the outcome of your sale will be under a liquidation timetable and to design a marketing campaign to our six digit deep customer base, around such timetable and a mutually agreed upon budget market the assets. Our marketing approach includes both online and offline channels, utilizing our multi-channel disposition networks to increase the speed of sale of your company’s assets.

  • Auction. With complete facility or multiple production line, it often make more sense to choose an auction for selling all the assets in a timely manner. Auction carries with it some clear advantages:
    • The auction process encourages competitive bidding, which means there is no price barrier
    • The auction process by its very nature creates a sense of urgency; buyers have a definite time frame in which they must act.
    • An auction creates three opportunities for selling the assets: before auction, on the day of auction, or directly after auction.
    • An ability to set a reserve price and a settlement date to suit your needs.

Artisan Capital Partners has several options and programs structured to meet your asset recovery needs, including:

    • Cash Buyout – We have the capital base available to purchase assets, including entire plants (with or without the real estate), outright for cash for the reduction of corporate time commitment.
    • Guarantee Program – We offer an advance cash payment to mitigate market risk with a sharing of gross proceeds and the ability to retain flexibility of the sale process.
    • Commission Structure – As your exclusive agent, we provide a customized sales strategy ensuring total flexibility to make important equipment decisions to maximize your recovery values.

With the breakout of the 2008 financial crisis and the aftermath credit crunch, the need to generate liquidity solutions to our clients became clear and we saw that there are many situations in which our customers are in need for liquidity in order to finance their reinvestment in maintaining or upgrading their production machinery and equipment. We decided to combine the key elements of our existing financial strength, diversified experience and unparalleled professional expertise with the ever-growing need for capital, leverage and “business building.”

Artisan Capital Partners will work, hand in hand, with small and mid-sized manufacturing business that struggle to position their business for growth to obtain the CapEx or working capital they need to deploy to achieve their vision.

Our financial services include:

  • Seller Financing - if you do not have the full amount to cover your purchase price we can discuss our seller financing program. We typically require a down payment (usually 40-60%) and then monthly payments over a period of time (typically 18-24 months).
  • Sale Leasebacks - in a typical machinery and equipment sale-leaseback transaction an owner sells its industrial machinery and equipment to an investor in exchange for a lease commitment (usually long-term) by the owner. The transaction frees up capital for use in business operations and for financing growth. If you own industrial bakery equipment we can help you use these assets to infuse money immediately into your business, and pay it back over a set period of time (typically 3-5 years).
